@lorr19 yeah even now I do not rely on my professors, I go back through everything and teach it to myself. And research stuff all the time. I rely on myself, because at the end of the day it not the professor that going to have to take the exam and pass its me. @angieperry yeah I would just get all the information and talk to the nursing department and then make your decision. But i mean UT tyler has a great program and if you feel more comfortable there I would stay.

So MWSU is now approval with warning status. That's unbelievable.

@angieperry it's not just the instructor alone, u have to blame the students as well they might not be putting in effort too or ping what they supposed to. They would get a warning approval if this 2015 set doesn't pass nclex with an 80% and above. I think you should stick to it Tyler if u feel more comfortable there. I wish I applied to other schools too. It's scary but am sure they doing everything to get back on track

It's sad the current students are destroying the image of MWSU. it was such a good school. I just pray it gets back on its feet. My sister graduated from there may 2011. She now works at JPS in forth worth.

I would talk to either CR or JB regarding this issue before making a decision. Still with you. I love my best friend and want to there with her. We've been together since childhood.

@angieperry yes it's very sad that students are destroying their image. My moms friends daughter graduated from Midwestern too, and she's working in usmd ARLINGTON Texas. I heard they making real improvements and all in the school though, to ensure success of the student. I won't just blame the instructors, because instructors can only teach and guide u, they can't read the books for one as well. I think they would be on track though and wouldn't worry much about it. If you work hard once in the program, there shouldn't be any problem passing nclex. The effort you put in is what u would get out of it, that's just the fact. Students can't expect nursing school to be a breeze, have to put a lot of effort and dedication as well. We should all be fine I believe. Just call Cathy or jeana and talk to them about your concern. Midwestern is a good school to me though ;and my moms friends daughter said it too as she graduated from there.

@angieperry @lorr19 Yeah it is sad that this is going on because I have heard really great things about MSU and only the bad stuff from a couple people in the last year or so. Yeah once we get letters, I will call to discuss this with one of them to get some more anwsers about what is going on. But I do think they have it under control with the changes they have made and things are getting better. I asked the current students on facebook in the group and they said that they are under review, but they said if work hard then be fine. One person also said that they are making tons of improvements and chnages to get back to where they were.

Yeah I think everything will be fine and get back to where it supposed to do. I just saw that the people who applied for Accelerated program just got there emails so hopefully ours will be coming in next couple days or at least monday or tuesday next week. I just want to go ahead and go talk to catherine in person and discuss everything once I get the letter.

Does anybody know anything about the background check? Are we supposed to do anything or just wait until we get a blue card in the mail. Because I mean I would think they already be here since we submitted the application over a month ago.

@keunnamonae that's what I thought too but obviously not. Maybe they waiting until letters are sent out. I hope we get letters soon coz am tired of waiting already and just want to start getting some stuff done with already. Have so much to do and don't want to waits at minute doing them. We get our room assignment by June right?
