Dang If my school was 77 % most of us would be out! our hesi was like a final, it was a percentage of our grade not total. well good luck! Im almost finished, at least it seems like it

For a minute, wasnt a typo! meat I Have 1 year left aka 2 semesters.. because midcirricular HESI means MID point. In between. I guess to me being a mom of 3, and wife, yes a 76% was good considering my lifestyle. Our HESI was not determining our pass or fail, It was worth 20% of our grade. Which is why I felt I did good.

you have been in nursing school for a minute?? still confused....

we have mid HESI's and end of each year HESI's. We also had a pharm HESI.

I am also a mom of 2 and wife so I know the stresses of school and family.

I just took my psych and ob/peds hesi, I got 96% on the psych hesi and waiting for my grade on ob/peds. Alot of my classmates fail the psych, and some are worried about their ob/peds grades. I always do well on hesi, I study for hesi by reviewing the hesi book and doing alot of nclex questions from a cd called nclex 3500. Th cd is very helpful, it gives a rational for every answer. I don't bother with my class notes because the test is not made by my professors so I don't see the point in wasting time reviewing my notes from class. Good Luck!

I am finishing up 3rd semester (ADN) and we have exams that are in NCLEX format throughout the theory classes. I read so much about HESI, but I'm not really sure if what we take are HESI exams. We have a good % that pass the NCLEX each year, so I'm guessing the exams are pretty indicative of the NCLEX. This doesn't seem common here. Any comments? I could have taken the LPN boards last semester, but just wanted to move onto the ADN program. Here both programs are together and you can choose to leave at the PN exit point or go on to become a RN. I'm seriously considering sitting for LPN this summer. I'm a part time student and won't finish until May 2009. This way I can work and gain some good experience.

When she says she has been in NS for a minute, that doesn't mean literally one minute. That means a while, be it two or three semesters.

"hypocaffeinemia"! your screen name is genius. (sounds like me) Sorry I had to mention. I know this is an old thread, LOL
besides thank you! all my fake friends didn't call me to ask me how my test went. I don't even know you and you asked me ! Thanks

Ain't it the truth! It is too funny that I would read that here. I was telling a good friend of mine the other day that college is all about making fake friends.
