I didn't buy or use a HESI book, I used my NCLEX books. I also reviewed my notes from previous semesters, and I did all the chapter questions in my med-surg and pharmacology textbooks.

Good luck!

:heartbeati suggest buying the prentice halls reviews and rationales series of books on the subjects you have gone over so far. they sell fundamentals, med surg, maternal child(ob) and so on. they helped me pass.:heartbeat

I go to north harris! I have hesi tomorrow! Im pulling my hair out! How was the hesi test was it easy? what areas should I focus? Thank you so much for replying,

I guess I don't know you then. I have to say honestly I think the HESI OB was way easy. This is my second HESI test. Fundamentals last semester I got an 1155. I got 1187 on the OB HESI. Which was surprising because I am very inconsistant in taking tests. We are required to get a 900 or remediate! My regular unit exams (we have 7 per semester :0( ) I score anywhere form an 80 to 94. BUT I am scared about the Midcirricular HESI. I don't know if it's the same for different schools, but ours will cover Psych, Med/Surg, and more OB. It's just a lot of info to study. I would suggest going over the major disease i.e CHF, ESRD, fluid and lytes, and some of the major meds for each disease. Good luck- I think were both gonna need it.
