Just wanted to Start a study group for spring semester .I thought it will also be fun to give pop questions for us to make up from our classes and answer to help us learn more. Hope to hear from u guys
my book is the tortora, funke edition as well, however I already have the 8th edition, and the current is the 9th. I am going to try and wing it with the old for the first week or two and then if I need I will get the newer edition. I also needed to buy a 60.00 'clicker', which allows you to buzz in answers like in a game show after the prof asks a question, and the prof keeps track of who's answering this way!! Interesting.

Yes, we do have a full load but we can do it. This is my last set of prerequisites and I hope to put in an application in May for the Jan 2010 evening/weekend program. I have just spent the last 4hours reading chapter 1 again of my Microbiology book and coming up wiht 108 questions with answers in Word as my teacher tests compose of 100 questions
I plan to now review chapter 1 again, review study guide review question/answer and then I am done with Micro until Monday.
Tomorrow, it will be studying of the Special senses emphasis on eyes and ears in preparation for Monday's lecturer. I am trying to stay ahead. We'll see.
My eyes are glazing over with Prokaryotes, Eukaryotes, microorganisms, Pasteur, Koch's Postulates and the like !

Ok got my microbiology books i hate the book store on the website it claimed they had some used books available got there there wasn't any so $115 for the book and $65 for the lab book i bet we won't even get threw half the book so my book is Microbiology an introduction brief edtion by Gerard totora, Berell r Funke and Christine Case comes with a CD and online access code. There is a total of 20 chapters will list each topic next post the lab book is huge it's the binder kind I guess to make it easier. The title is Microbiology Labaoratory theory and application second edtion 11 chapters and lots of pictures and the examples are really clear and it looks like your looking inside of the microscope.
