Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

For the tutorials on the edgt website do we have to do those tests at the end or do we just need to review each tutorial? I've been doing some cuz it's helpful I guess there's no harm but just want to know if is like required to do those test?

Please let us know if you use the book tomorrow. Because I was just about to order it. Thanks in advance for saving me money.

The boot camp ended yesterday. We didn't use the book. They went over terminology but the book was not used as reference

Gessh my book just arrived in the mail today. Luckily the book was only $13 lol

Only one of the 4 public libraries around me had the med term book; and it was in the reference section. Such a relief. Thanks for the update guys. So love Allnurses !!!

Lucky you I didn't have any luck. Not even the private library in North Miami Beach carried it

The first boot camp session ended today. I feel some parts were very informative and useful!! Very few parts, in my opinion, were useless. For those who have not purchased the medical terminology book, save yourself the expense. We didn't really use the book.. They hand out packets and we may use our phones/tablets/computers to google some of the material being covered. the tutorials online are very great tools to review material... We will need to know most of it so there is no harm in doing at least 1-2 tutorials per day!

Can you pls send me the link to the email that you received for the bootcamp....Im so lost...I was just able to register for the bootcamp today because of issues with my class schedule

Can someone who was accepted into the part time option please share what the class schedule is like? I'm going to be applying for Fall 2015 and would like to get an idea as to what my weeks are going to look like so I can plan out childcare and work schedule accordingly. Thanks!

Has anyone had their background check approved by the nursing department yet. I was told to wait a week or two and they haven't got to it yet. Everything else has been approved
