Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Hey there. What do you guys mean when you say sequence two? I didn't know there was a specific sequence? Wondering if I am missing something. (I'm doing full time generic at homestead campus.)

Also, would someone be able to post the class sheet they handed out yesterday? I am out of town. I went to orientation on 11/6. And now I forgot to take the class sheet with me...:-/

Guys what do you think of the sequences?

I got registered for sequence two. I think it's the best; any thoughts ? I have classes Tue 8-12:30, Wed 8-12:30 and my clinicals on Thursday 7 to 3 pm (Jackson memorial). Anyone taking the same classes ?

I also got sequence 2, have classes with Proff Alvarez, Proff Hanna, Proff Macdonald. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Clinicals on Thursday. Still so much to do before classes start, and the darn Complio website is still giving me problems!

Has anybody bought their stethoscope already? I am thinking on buying a Littman Cardiology 3, I know in orientation they said not to buy an expensive one but everyone says in others posts to get a good stethoscope.

Well, I bought the Littmann Classic II SE which is as good as the III but less expensive, the reviews are awesome and my economy didn't suffer as much. We can use those extra 50 or 60 dollars for books. I give you the link:

I'm in the bridge full-time and just noticed that the professors I've selected are no longer teaching the course. Did anyone notice the teachers being replaced?

The Pharm professor was changed & my clinical site and time was changed from UM 3-9 to JMH 7-12. I'm very happy about the time change in clinical. I only chose the 3-9 bc that's what was left.

I read reviews online about the pharm professor and he seems to be a good teacher. But my clinical professor Pit??? she has bad reviews; they said she has a heavy accent and is all over the place. I know how to tune these type of people out and teach myself the material.
