Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

a lot of people have a rolling backpack because the books are heavy. i just bring my purse because i found online versions of the books so bring my ipad, a notebook, and printouts of the powerpoints to make notes on.

Yeah, rejection letters should be going out soon. This may just be my craziness and trying to figure out how much time we have left but the orientation for Generic is on November 20 and they require paper work at least 7 business days before orientation so we're looking at November 11 or sooner like BLNurse said

7 days from Nov 20th is what the letters say .

THanks for all th info! I am thinking of bringing my ipad as well. Did you find most books from most classes online? Is this feasible for all my classes?

Who got their uniforms already? Any thoughts? ..... I got mine today, not one fitted right either too small or too big shirts are extremely long for short people :$

I brought two sets right after orientation. The sizes are a bit funky but I was able to get an XSmall top and Small bottom

I've only gotten two tops (one green and one white) they run extremely large. I fit into a small and yes they're so long (I'm 5'2") and look shorter lol. Not very flattering

For those of you who've gone to orientation, did they give you the book list? do you guys mind sharing? However, I'm not sure if they will be the same

This may be random but I love school supplies and I've started looking for some. I noticed that for some reason binders are sooo pricy! I went to a few places and all of the 2" ones were minimum $6-$7! I found a pack of FOUR 2" binders for $12 at Sam's.

Just a little heads up in case you guys want to know!

All Office Max are closing. They have 60 to 70% off. Find you closest location and call to see if they are still open. I went crazy buying stuff.
