Good morning/night to all who are reading this,
I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?
Sorry, to hear that but we all know what is best for us,we are running out of people guys. We need more people to joint our treat, please the outsider readers if you apply for spring 2016 joint allnurses and share your thoughs and experiences we need the support from each other an the legacy from future mdc students, thanks
I think that too, I know 4 or 5 people from my prerequisites classes that all will apply for fall and 1 friend of mine will do the hesi on the 29 her gpa is 3.43 I will keep you posted. I told her to check how is admission office that day. This waiting is killing me but I know for fact that the results for people taking the hesi is around 83 so I am felling better

My science GPA isn't that great. That is why I did not want to do the HESI. I want to take my time to study and score good. I don't think there are a lot of people applying which is a better chance to get in.

Hi Bebebs thank you for asking. I just wanted to inform you all did I did not do the HESI. I wasn't feeling comfortable and I did not want to have the pressure of doing it the second time which is more harder. I'm going to take it easy and study each section with time, I will apply for fall next year. Good luck to everyone.
