Good morning/night to all who are reading this,
I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?
Hello guys. I was gonna apply for this spring 2016 but im still missing intro to healthcare. i thought i would be able to apply to spring even me taking this course this fall before january but apparently you need everything by september 1st. I graduated last year with my AA in pre nursing. in mdc of course. my overall gpa is a 3.62 and my science gpa is a 3.93. I was in BARRY UNIVERSITY BSN PROGRAM and i had the baptist scholar this summer but i wasnt successfull so i withdrew. better to withdraw than getting an F on nursing school. nursing school is tough im not gonna lie but then again it was a bachelors. anyways I know what to expect in nursing school. i know the questions they ask on exams. i know my care plans. i know funds. so i feel like if i get into nursing school i should do better for having some knowledge. on top of that my wife was in the program with me. but she made it barely. so everything she studies i study as well. I have ambitious to go on nursing school again and do way better. never give up. being a nurse is my dream.
