I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ?? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?
Well the less that apply the better chance we have at getting in.. I just hope the cut off score is not like 81 or something cause I have an 80.. But a lot of ppl are scoring in the 70's
Welcome CamiNP thanks for joint us, yesterday the hesi score when down from 83.6 to 77 so a lot of people that made the hesi yesterday had around 77. I hope we all get in. I will let you know after 7 how people did in the hesi today

Do you know people that apply for Spring with a score around 70's
You sign in elsevier web page with your password an username the same that you used for your test and you will see your test score, next to your score in the left side is a + sign click it you will see all 7 divisions if you opened individually you will see your score for the subject and on the left side top, you will see class score add all 7 divided by 7 and there you have the overall score that day for mdc students
Sorry, I wish I knew how many people but I know their overall score for that day, so that give some relief after I score so low in my hesi, I learn how to do this reading other treads from previous years my competitive score is 81.7. Do you think I have a chance?
