Good morning/night to all who are reading this,
I created this post in the hopes that all applicants applying for the nursing program at Miami dade submit their experience they have had so far and also submit any questions they might have. I'm currently applying for the accelerated option but would like to hear what others are doing in the part time and generic option. A little about me is that I have a BSN in health science (2014) and have taken all the prerequisites with the exception of A&P 2 (which I am retaking in summer b June 22).
Right now my biggest concern is the hesi a2 exam we have to take and making sure i ace it because my science gpa is not so hot right now. I have read prior posts and it seems like A&P is the most challenging section. Has anyone taken it as yet? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm worried that after they evaluate my degree they might not take my science subjects and make me re do them ? ? . Has any one's transcript been evaluated yet?
Hope5 said:They are crazy on the MDC clinic I had my sencond ppd on friday they put it the wrong way too deep and I had blood on it I knew it will give me troubled I had to do the xrays today I will have all my titters ready for tuesday, I hope, you never know with them. That's how it looks 5 seconds after she put it, they want papers, blood and your money too
What papers are you talking about ? The health form ?
bebebs said:No I didn't need a chest X-ray it has to be 10mm to get a X-ray but my titer for chicken pox came out negative so I had to go and get the varicella booster shot and in like 5 weeks I have to get a titer again just for the varicella
I have a question. Did the temporarily make you compliant until you get it?
They will not send you home because of the scrubs that is ******** in the campus we all have different shades of green and honestly in the hospital rotations they don't even notice what kind of shoes you are wearing, just get something all white. For Complio if you want them to review your things faster you can call them, but at orientation there will be people from Complio working on evaluating pending things. If you guys are low on varicella titers you will just need to take the vaccine you do not need another titers. Honestly I suggest you guys to get the Saunders book and read the fundamentals part before you start the program cause believe me you won't have time to read it once you are in.
