Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

Ok y'all (yes, I'm southern), We have 12 members on the Facebook page. If you meet up with anyone you feel might want to join, feel free to invite them.

Facebook will make it easy for us to share files and ideas as well as ask questions etc. I'm sure one of the first things we'll be sharing is where to buy supplies and books and stethoscopes.

I got an acceptance email today! FINALLY yayayya I'll be in accelerated! :)

Mo16, I got in too! Just got the acceptance. I think we are a bit screwed though because we only have until Wednesday of next week to turn everything in : / I will be in first thing tomorrow to turn in my acceptance and then I am running to Coral Gables to do the background check...

Make sure its ok to do it there, because I think I read somewhere that you have to do it at medical campus! Also, I asked about that she said if everything is not turned in by the deadline, to have it done by the orientation date; however, I'm gonna try to get it all done by that date because I rather be safe than sorry! Congratulations!!! :yes:

Congrats Mo16 & Peanuter!! so happy for you guys! peanuter your doing the part time right? Mo16 what program are you doing?

FYI I did all my thing at the health clinic in one day at it's fast just go as soon as possible because the titers take a couple days to come back and make your appointment for the background asap I think its ok if you have your appointment and have proof of it after the deadline but always ask and congrats once again!!!!

I got into accelerated full time, you're doing accelerated as well, right? Im so excited, I'm going to the health clinic first thing monday and I already scheduled my background check. Im just ready to get started now hahaha.
