Hey guys,
I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.
So far this is what I know:
I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).
Hello all, I have been accepted this morning to the Homestead generic full time program. My science G.P.A. 3.7 and my overall G.P.A. is a 3.87. Congrats to everyone who has got in and stay positive to everyone who has not received an acceptance letter yet. Remember a lot of people have been accepted to generic full time/part time and bridge and accelerated and will only accept one so many more people will be accepted just stay strong.
I don't know how I feel about them not having a boot camp this time around. I wonder if those who previously went to a boot camp found them to be beneficial to their initial success in the program?
It was a refresher of Anatomy and Physiology, some medical terminology and math.
The really cool part is that we got a presentation by Elsevier, the company that makes the Hesi and the textbooks, the presenter was Sylvester, she pretty much makes almost all the Nclex Rn review books for Elsevier. We got the presentation and a test taking strategy book for free, normally on your own that would ha been onwards of $300!!
