Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Published

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

You get a rejection letter like 3 weeks later, this is my second time but I already know I'm not in so therefor I'm switching majors.

Let's keep our hopes up :) what was your gpa the first time you applied?

This wait is horrible. I have anxiety.

Hi guys I have applied only for the bridge. my cum gpa is 3.56 and my science is 3.47. do you think that I have a chance to get in ??? the wait is hard to manage!!!!

Hi I got accepted for bridge my Gpa is 3.72 science 3.45, but my friend got accepted too and her GpA is 3.1 over all 3.2 science so don't worry you will get in. I think it goes by order of when people applied we applied is January.

How do you know you are not in?

Yurema don't be discouraged u still have a chance think about other schools as I got into Barry University also but I'm going to be because it's cheaper

id like to remind us all that they could only send a certain number out at first due the the fact most people were given 2 options to which program they want. therefore, many seats are still avail...including part time...

I don't think it's by order of application I applied very early around November, December. I still haven't received a letter.

well that would be great cause i applied in DECEMBER

When I applied to the program i was told the acceptance letters are sent out based on GPA.

Hey everyone! I got my a acceptance email last night for the accelerated and generic full-time at homestead. I will be choosing accelerated. Good luck to you all.
