Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

Just roughly one more week!!! 😆

Just in case I already did my Titers and thank god I did them because I was low on varicella and I had to get the vaccine

Hello every one I applied for the full time and part time program at dade . My gpa is 3.3 cumulative and 3.3 science gpa .I have an emt license and I also applied to broward college hopefully to either one this :) I applied to dade last time around to start in jan 2015 but was denied :( . A little of my story . Good luck people !!!

They don't say why they reject you, I got rejected as well but I believe evething happens for a reason and it's about luck.

They just basically say sorry we went with other people try again next time lol

Wow lol, guys if we get in we are in for the ride of our life I have the students from the other semester and they are about to complain to the Dean cause they are failing the classes cause of the new HESI exam

Are you talking about a new entrance exam for spring semester 2016?
