  1. I got a C in micro the second time I took it because the first time I got a D... and I got in too! Don’t get discouraged! ?
  2. Hi, two nights a week for lecture and Saturday clinicals. I was told that the program at PBSC is not good. I was looking into that one as well before applying to MDC. Plus at PBSC you need to score an 80% in each of the 9 sections of the HESI.
  3. Well, I’m starting on a August 26th but yes, I will be working full time and doing CNA PRN too. It will take longer than the full time option but I think it’s also a matter of time management.
  4. Hi! Part time is all evening classes with clínicas on the weekends. We don’t start clinicals until second semester.
  5. Hi @Kate001! You’ve been added to the chat. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
  6. You’re part of the chat ?
  7. You’re in the group! ?
  8. You were added to the group! ?
  9. Update: I just took the Hesi and got an 83. Waiting to do my application now ?
  10. Hi everyone! I just found this thread and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been reading it for a couple of days (went through all the posts ?). It seems like I’m the only one that will be applying right before the new extended deadline. I have an overall gpa of 3.6 and a 3.5 science gpa, I will be taking the hesi tomorrow! Eeeekkk! I bought different guides and the pocket prep app and it was useful. I’m a “mature student” lol I’m 32 and decided to go back to school part time. I need to work while going to school because with two kids, money is 100% necessary. Personally, I don’t find it too challenging as I’ve always worked while going to school, I guess in part because I didn’t want to rely on student loans at all (we’re on the hook for my husband’s student loans already). I am a CNA but don’t work as one. I will also be commuting from Broward, Pembroke Pines specifically. I used to commute for work to Miami airport (for 3 years) so I’m kind of used to it. I apologize if this thread seems all over the place, I’m trying to get ready for a meeting while getting the kids ready for school ? . Good luck to everyone!!
  11. I got my rejection email today. My science gpa is 3.5 and my overall 3.7. Oh well, I don't think I'll reapply. I got two little ones at home and they're a handful so I'll just wait till they are a little older.
  12. I still haven't received a letter either. My plan B.. Won't try again. This is my first time applying to the program, I have a 3.0 science gpa and 3.5 overall gpa. If I get rejected I'm going to focus on working with my bachelors in Business and maybe try it again when my kids are older.
  13. Did they confirmed they had your application?
  14. I agree with you, I applied the last week of August because an advisor told me that the deadline for part time and full time was September 1st. Of course I went there and another advisor told me the deadline was only for full time but I could apply anyway for the part time program. It's probably random letters for all those who were accepted, then they will probably wait for seats to be empty before sending the other batch. Lets keep the positive vibes up guys! Xoxo
  15. Welcome to our waiting journey! We'll know soon enough! Why were you rejected for spring 2015? If I may ask
