Miami Dade College Fall 2015 RN Program

Hey guys,

I figured I should share what I know about the Fall 2015 application so far.

So far this is what I know:

  1. Spring 2015 students do not need an entrance exam - let's see if they keep it this way for Fall 2015 applicants
  2. There will be a mandatory SOS Pre Nursing Bootcamp that will need to be attended upon acceptance to the program.
  3. I called advising today (7/7/14) the receptionist said I should start applying in January, but I'll confirm that once again before then.
  4. 60% sciences and 40% cumulative GPA is still the criteria as far as we know.

I figured this should be a great place for us to share our anxiety about our apps and build some friendships :).

Do you guys know if the link is working again? What if they start going out tmrw they did say anytime this week what if the link was down this weeknd because they are sending then tmrw lol im slowly losing it

Link is not working yet, it should be up again tomorrow or Tuesday latest wenesday.

hi all. well i have been reading everyone's comments. I applied for MDC-RN-FT/PT. i haven't heard anything as of yet. I also applied for Respiratory Care.I received an acceptance letter June 1. I was really happy to know i at least have my foot in the door and I can bridge when the program is over. I just wanted to tell everyone good luck. I went to the medical campus friday june 5th and they told me they are still working on letters. I hope to get in. I have a 3.0 overall and a 3.0 natural science. they accept 150 full time applicants and 50 part time... im sure hundreds applied it was the first semester without an entrance exam but i have everything covered including micro lab, statistics, and cgs1060. but i have faith that my hardwork has paid off.

God willing I'll also be part of the 150 or the 50. I would be ecstatic if I get into any of the two!
