MGHIHP Accelerated BSN May 2014

Hi everyone!

I'm applying to MGHIHP for the Fall 2014 (or summer I guess since it starts in May) semester because I think it looks like a great program with good reviews from past and current students. I submitted my application on the deadline, November 1st. The only problem right now is that only two of my three recommendations are in. I'm really upset about it because I don't want it to negatively reflect on me. I spoke to this woman multiple times to submit the letter and she promised that she would by the end of the day on November 1st (which was 50 minutes ago). It's officially late now :-( Does anyone have any advice about what I should do?? Do you think it'll affect my application? Any other applicants out there??

ahhhh, so nerve wracking! haha

This wait is killing me. Every time I hear the new email notification "ping" on my iPhone, I freak out ("Maybe it's an acceptance!"). I am so anxious!

I have been obsessively checking my email every chance that I get! Where else did everyone apply to besides MGH?

I applied to Duquesne, JHU, U Penn, Duke and MGH. I've been accepted at Duquesne, but I think I got dropped to the wait list because I didn't submit my deposit in time.

I've applied to Simmons and Regis. Has anyone heard anything? I was thinking of calling again today but I don't want to be a pest, I called last week and they said we would hear by the end of the week last week, beginning of this week. It's so hard to wait another day, the anticipation is killing me.

Are we getting notified via email or regular mail, does anyone know?!

Yeah, I was under the impression that it was via email right away + an official letter in the mail.

You can log onto your account where you applied to check the admission status, and an email will also be sent. The letter comes a few days later or the next week.
