MGH IHP DE NP 2018

Hi There!

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone applying for Fall 2018 entry. I'm about 3/4 of my way through the application and feeling a bit anxious and nervous about it all but mostly excited! :)

Yeah haven't heard anything either. Last year, it looks like they found out February 7th so hopefully we'll have some news around the same time!

I noticed today that the due date for MGH applications was moved to January 17th. I'm hoping this won't push back notifications for those who submitted for January 1st. I also thought this was interesting, as they seemed to do it "after the fact."

I didn't even notice that they bumped the deadline! I wonder if it has something to do with the storms we've been having up here in New England?

Also hoping it wont push back decisions any.

I was thinking it might have something to do with the storms - particularly for transcript delivery. The wait is just so difficult that I'm hoping we know ASAP!

Thanks for sharing that, I hadn't noticed! I just checked today, and it looks like the application deadline has been moved back even further to February 2nd. Agreed that I hope this won't delay admissions decisions too much...

I emailed them asking if the changes in deadline will delay the review process for everyone who has submitted their apps by the original deadline of 1/01. I hope it doesn't because it wouldn't be fair if it did.

Just received an email saying that my app is ready for review!

I called them asking about when their decision will be in and they told me mid march for the first deadline

Hmm that's later than last year. It looks like applicants were notified around mid February last year. I wonder why they decided to extend the application deadline.
