Hi There!

Thought I'd start a thread for anyone applying for Fall 2018 entry. I'm about 3/4 of my way through the application and feeling a bit anxious and nervous about it all but mostly excited! :)

Hi @DahyanaSchlosser!

I am about ready to submit my application. I am editing and rewriting my statement of purpose but I have everything else in place. My transcripts and GRE scores have been sent in already and confirmed and I am waiting for only one more LOR to be submitted before that is complete.

I'm just excited about finally being able to apply after all the time and work we have put in. I am looking forward to not only submitting my application but the overall process as well. I kind of rushed through my undergraduate degree as I took a lot of units and graduated early so this time around I want to take my time and enjoy the full experience.

Which specialty are you applying to?

Specializes in Psychiatry.

Currently taking the last two prerequisites at MGH and preparing my statement later and recommendation letters, I am nervous, excited and a bit scared at the same time, I just want to finally start and concentrate on this chapter, I take the GRE at the end of November.

Sounds like you are on the ball! Good luck! :). I'm applying to the Psych Track. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and I'm hoping to combine the two careers!.

Good luck! Which prereqs are you currently taking? I'm taking Stats now at MGH. I still will have Nutrition left to do- planning on doing that this summer if I get in :)

Currently taking A& P 2 and Microbiology, MGH offers them online which is great since I still work full time at the moment, you have taken the GRE already?

Yes! I love that they are online. I'm working full time too and also have Private Practice Part Time so their online courses have been a life saver.I actually waived the GRE since I have a Master's.

Hello, im planning to apply there for Spring 2019, is anyone going the RN-PMHNProute without a BSN but a non bachelor nursing degree? thanksin advance, i miss the infosession on 10/26/17

I'm applying to the 2018 MGH DEN program. I haven't submitted my application yet, but I have almost all of the pieces together. The only thing I am still working on is the diversity statement. I am applying to the Adult-Geri Acute Care track. I think MGH is probably my 2nd or 3rd choice. I'm applying to MGH, Simmons, Vanderbilt, Seattle U, and University of Rochester. My top choice right now is either Vanderbilt or Seattle U. Where all are you applying? What are you all planning to do to cover costs?

Hi all!

I am also working on my application for MGH. A little nervous due to the fact that my undergrad gpa and GRE scores were very low. But I am currently finishing my Masters degree in Health Science with a great gpa and have received all As in Nursing prerequisites. Any insight on my chances of getting in? (Trying to remain positive)

Hi There!

I recently attended an online info session and my biggest takeaway was that they consider your whole application and one thing probably won't make or break you. So, given that your undergraduate GPA and GRE scores are low it's good your prereqs all are A's. A strong personal statement, and awesome recommendations will make you a contender for sure!
