MGH Direct-Entry Nursing 2014

I just sent in my application for MGH Direct-Entry Nursing 2014 and I was hoping to get in touch with other applicants. I applied for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP. The wait is going to kill me! I'm wondering about other people's backgrounds (GPA, GRE scores, experience, etc.) and if anyone has an idea of who MGH accepts. Look forward to hearing from you!

I emailed admissions and they responded that the admissions reviews process is nearly complete and decisions should be posted shortly. They also included the 8-10 week deadline response time, which I already knew, so I don't know if it was an auto response e-mail or something. I'm so frustrated. I just want to know!

Ughh I know! I keep checking my email every 15 mins pretty much! Haha. Does anyone know what time they sent the email out last year? I'm wondering if they send it out in the morning and if hope is lost for today :/

I spoke with admissions today and he said we will get an email telling us to check the application website- he said it might be tomorrow but the way things are sounding about what they are telling other people, it could be later this week.

Did anyone else apply to Northeastern and get an email today?

@kerris73 UGH I did. Something about all spots being full and doing the hybrid program instead. A bit taken aback that they left the email so open ended.. I would have preferred some definitive answer; we put all this time, effort, and money into applying to their traditional direct entry program, they should have specified what this means.

I got that same email from Northeastern today and it made me so mad! I never even got an interview

I got the same email from Northeastern. I am hoping to find out from MGH this week so I can decide if I'm going to apply to other programs or pursue the Hybrid-option.

I called Admissions and spoke with the director of admissions. He said we would either hear today or tomorrow.

Has anyone heard? No call or email yet from MGH, and my online application still says "Application Status: Submitted." I did get a call from Northeastern last night accepting me into their on campus DE MSN program for Fall 2014. Biting my nails! Good luck everyone.
