Is anyone else applying to the MGH Accelerated BSN program for Summer 2015? How is everyone feeling about it??

I lived in Boston for 10 yrs ( Southie) ...rents are thru the roof. Just an example, my tiny apt 15 yrs ago was $500 and I ran into my old landlord ..he's getting $1900 for it...caaarazy! Somerville , Chelsea is prob cheaper.

Yeah I second that. Rent is crazy out here and it keeps going up and up. It isn't abnormal to see one beds for 2200 even. Somerville is actually going up now because of the future extension of the green line...and the fact that everyone is getting priced out of Boston proper. I'm moving Feb 1 from mission hill to Medford. Been here for a few years. Apt was 1500 now is 1850...in just two years

Chelsea is your best bet for cheap and still somewhat convenient to charlestown...Melrose is on the orange line and tends to be a bit cheaper sometimes since its up north more.

@lagirl - it really depends on what you're okay with. Roommates, no roommates etc...I'm engaged so I have a built in room mate. We keep our budget at around 700 a piece...and its tight to find spots.

Studio apts are more expensive. Message me if you want more info... Really depends on what you're looking for. I'd say low estimate 800ish (for rent & until) and high 1,000
