  1. Yes, 100% sure I am going! Deposit paid! I'm there. I don't want to wait any longer to start this journey.
  2. I'm in! Yessss!! To anyone who didn't get in, re-apply with an improved essay. That's what I did and t worked! :)
  3. I won't be checking this until the weekend since I'm having surgery tomorrow, signing off till them. Sending best wishes to all!
  4. Just based on the thread - it was the same thing, we were all on here waiting. The people who got the email first were the ones who ended up saying they were accepted. Those of us who didn't receive it until later were not or were waitlisted. By no means am I saying that is the way they do it, could 100% be a coincidence. I'm just bumming because it's my second time applying and I'm nervous the same thing happened.
  5. Okay so last round...the people who got that email first were the ones who got in. I got mine later and was rejected. Still didn't get it so I guess I'm likely rejected again. Yikes. Hope I'm wrong but that was the pattern last time.
  6. Nope...this is legit torture. I'm having surgery tomorrow and was hoping to have a yes or no prior. I am dying to just know. I probably check my email or app 50x/day haha
  7. Hi all - we didn't find out until about almost 11 weeks after submission last time. So we probably have until the end of next week to hear back. Also - your status doesn't change on the app. It stays application complete for review. You get an email saying when the decision will be available on the application, then you log on and click the link with the decision letter. Good luck!! :)
  8. I re-applied for the Summer start (was rejected for spring start). Our apps were due on July 1 and we found out around September 10th. So I assume we have about 2 more weeks until we hit the 10-week mark when they post decisions. We received an email stating an admissions decision was made which directed us to check the portal. Good luck to everyone! Happy new year!
  9. thanks for clearing this up, ihealthy!!
  10. Congratulations! Question- can future employers see how many attempts you made to pass the exam? Is there a limit to the number of times you can take it? Or a limit to how long you can wait between becoming eligible to sit for the exam and actually pass?
  11. Does anyone feel skeptical about the majority of the courses being online? Don't get me wrong, it's my top choice, but I have also read a lot of reviews online about how it is not ideal that you are learning a completely new discipline online instead of in the classroom. Just curious is any current students have perspective on this, thanks!
  12. Thanks cathleen89. Yes, I have to say I felt confident, even though my original GPA was lower than their usual applicant. It feels like a bit of a blow in terms of being rejected and not even wait-listed. The letter says that they "are not able to discuss your individual application or reasons for the decision" so that is really tough- I would jump at the chance to know how I could improve my chances for the next round. I am going to try and find out more at an info session...good luck with the program!
  13. To those who got in...do you mind sharing your undergrad GPA? mine was from several years ago and 3.0. However, my GPA for prereqs (taken over the past 2 years) was 3.8, which I was hoping would help me out. I have a ton of clinical experience and also work in research at one of the Partners hospitals. 2/3 of my recs came from Partners MDs who I have worked with. Just wondering what on earth I can do to boost this app for when I re-apply! :)
  14. Rejected. Congratulations to all of you! Wishing you luck throughout the program.
