MGH Accelerated BSN Summer 2016

Hi everyone - I'm wondering if anyone else applied for MGH's Accelerated BSN program for Summer 2016? I submitted my application on the deadline (November 2nd). I've searched through some MGH threads on here but I haven't come across any discussing the Summer start!

I'm in too !! I started crying when I read the letter! Can't wait to meet everyone in May! and Congrats!!!!!!!

congratulations everyone who has been accepted!! :laugh: I got waitlisted. But I am still keeping the faith! haha :) The program tho really is a GREAT program! I was blessed enough to get in contact with some recent grads from the program and I heard nothing but GREAT feedback about the program! Best of luck to those who have been officially accepted!

Me too, I'm in Somerville. I wonder how many people they're admitting total? Dunno about you guys but I'm having some champagne to celebrate :)

I just drove to the liquor store to get wine coolers. They're my drink of choice. From what I've read before, they get around 300 applicants, of whom 100/120 are admitted. So they accept around 1/3 of the applicants.

Congratulations to everyone who got acceptances! I got one too! And I'm in NY. Did anyone have any mention of scholarship info in their acceptance?

No mention of financial aid, I thought during their info sessions they said that they'd determine how much we were getting based on our essay? In the acceptance letter they mentioned emailing the financial aid office though?

I am from winchester! About 15 minutes from Charlestown..I am so ecstatic! Has anyone thought of making a facebook group for everyone to chat?

If I'm not mistaken, your admissions letter informs you if you got a scholarship, and within 3-5 business days, you'll be contacted through email regarding the amount.
