Hey Prospective students! Sorry for the late response. We have all been very busy with the program. thecareerchanger Program is going as well as can be expected. Of-course there is administrative crap but I am sure it is the same with every other program. Some professors are great, some are not. As you will learn, it is what it is. motherclucking I didn't take Patho and Pharm elsewhere and I do not regret it. The summer with these two classes really is the MOST STRESSFUL, most difficult thing I have ever done in my entire life. But the Professor who teaches these 2 courses is amazing. You will learn so much in such a short time period. That said, my advice would be to take the classes elsewhere and sit in on these lectures if you want to be less stressed. That way you can learn without having the added stress of Tests, quizzes and case studies. zolojan I am not really sure about that, you may want to contact the admissions office. Or attend the open house tomorrow! Hope my answers were helpful.

Piniella I can't respond to the PM because apparently I haven't posted 15 times yet.

Piniella I am actually trying to decide whether I should hurry-up and apply for an Epermit in order to take Patho at BMCC also. I see that it is still open but since I will also be taking Microbio (@BMCC)and finishing up my first degree (@Hunter), I am hesitant to take on too much of a workload (if Patho wouldn't be transferred into Downstate). I have also taken 2 Nursing electives so I am hoping that these also transfer for the 2 required in the program. LMK if you decide to stay enrolled in Patho at BMCC.

Congratulations to those who have been accepted! I received my acceptance letter this morning! So excited!! I was wondering if anyone made a FB group yet? Thinking about dorming and may be looking for a roommate.

Hey everyone! I have also applied for this program and I'm hoping we hear from them soon! I do have a question: has the status on the application page change for anyone? Mine still says "Application Status: Submitted" "Application is Complete for Review: Unofficial Documentation"

Hey Everyone! I am new to this forum but I have been following the thread since it began. I have also applied for the Summer 2016 ABSN and am anxiously awaiting a response. My application was submitted close to the deadline and has been in "Faculty Screener 6" for about a month now.
