  1. Haven't received anything since submitting the deposit!
  2. Renee- congratulations to you, too, on the MGH acceptance! To get into any of these programs is certainly an accomplishment. I completely understand your feelings about this application process. I'm still holding out for an acceptance, but at this point, I'm just not sure that is realistic. I wish there had been more transparency about their process. Sending decision letters to one pool of applicants and keeping another pool in the dark for another month (or maybe more at this point- who knows when we'll receive their decision), feels very cruel. Also, I can't reach anyone in the nursing office or undergraduate admissions via phone. I can't believe you haven't received a decision yet, even after your status changed. SO frustrating! I will let you know if I hear anything new
  3. Renee- did you get anything in the mail after your status changed? Been thinking about you! I tried to call their offices on Friday to get more information, but every time I did, it went right to voicemail. I'm definitely feeling more anxious now as deposits are due for other programs. Really hoping to find out this week!
  4. Accepted, too! And living in Boston :) Congratulations to all!
  5. Thanks for the info, saracampion! That is great news. Checking my application obsessively with fingers crossed!
  6. Right there with you guys! Hang in there!
  7. kmo1013- I'm in the same boat! No status change yet. Hang in there.
  8. Hi R3Cole! I've been accepted for the Accelerated program starting this summer. When did you submit your application? Unless they have changed their policy in the last month, the program has rolling admissions, so you should receive an answer within two weeks of submitting. However, if you applied within the last 3 weeks, you're probably experiencing a delay since NU is still on winter break. Best of luck!
  9. Thanks for the info (and encouragement!), Renee3434! I caved earlier as well and sent an email. I also obsessively check the application status but no change yet! I'll update on here if I receive any conflicting information from them Did you apply to any other programs? I've been accepted at Northeastern, but UMass is my top choice. I've also applied to MGH, but I don't expect to hear back from them until mid-January. Best of luck to everyone, and again, huge congratulations to those who have heard! :)
  10. Still nothing. In the portal, under Application Status, it still says: "This application is complete" I can't help but think this may be bad news, especially since it seems like many people received acceptance letters nearly 2 weeks ago. Has anyone spoken to admissions? Anyone in the same boat? Its taking everything in me not to call and ask!
  11. Maria- did you send an email to admissions, or did they send that email to you out of the blue? Accelerated programs are intense and fast-paced. At each of the information sessions I've been to, they've made it very clear that working while in the program is strongly discouraged (and near impossible). If you're motivated, have a strong support system behind you, and you're able to make the program your full time job for the next year and a half, you'll be fine!
  12. Congratulations to everyone who has received good news! :) I have yet to hear anything, and my application status does not say that a letter has been sent. Its hard not to go to worst case scenario, but I'm wondering if perhaps they sent letters to earlier applicants first? My materials weren't submitted until the day before the deadline because of my TEAS testing date. I've looked through this thread and one from last year and people have mentioned that they send the decision letters out in different chunks. Fingers crossed!
  13. Hi all! Has anyone received a letter yet? Patiently waiting!
  14. CONGRATULATIONS! That is fantastic news! :) May I ask how you were notified?
  15. Hear anything yet? I'm still waiting...
