Hi Everyone,

I figured since every other cohort has started message boards about the application process it might be helpful to start one here as well! Has anyone applied to MGH for the January 2017 start In the accelerated nursing program? I've heard a lot of great things about the program and work with 5 nurses who have come from this program as well.

I figured we could all share our experiences and qualifications here.. Good luck to all! I'm so anxious, September can't come soon enough...

no updates for me yet.. the 2016 thread found out Sep 8th I believe, right at the 10 week mark. I've just assumed that's when we will hear as well. Especially since all of the transcripts for summer classes were due last Friday, they're probably trying to sort through everything. The wait is definitely tough though!

hey everyone! Just wanted to say good luck to everyone and hopefully the decisions will be made soon! I know the waiting game is so incredibly hard. I was accepted into Curry College's Accelerated BSN program and I'm just waiting to hear back from MGHIHP so I'm able to decide which is the best fit if I get in to both. I live on the Cape so I'll be commuting quite a distance no matter which program I chose. Fingers crossed for everyone!!

Same here Sabs1028! Curry is my number one choice since it's one of the cheapest and they have better faculty to student ratio. Right now, I'm just waiting to see if MGHIHP would offer me a scholarship.

between checking my email and my application I've done almost nothing productive the past two days! the anticipation is killin me!

has anyone tried calling the nursing school to see when they should be releasing the decisions? i have called twice but both times I was transferred to someone's answering machine

Nothing yet, the later it gets the more I check my email I'm hoping today's the day, I feel so impatient now!
