I figured since every other cohort has started message boards about the application process it might be helpful to start one here as well! Has anyone applied to MGH for the January 2017 start In the accelerated nursing program? I've heard a lot of great things about the program and work with 5 nurses who have come from this program as well.

Yes, exactly. I was told by Kelly in the admissions office that this year they've received an overwhelming amount of applicants. She stated decisions would be sent out early next week, which would make it this week. Last years applicant pool was around 300 and they only accept 100 students per class. I'm super anxious !
I believe this week is 10 weeks. I really hope we hear soon!!! I got accepted into another program and I need to know if I get into MGH so i can make a decision. It's actually killing me haha Also for those who got into Curry, I went there for four years. Was in their nursing program for 3.. Let me know if you'd like to talk about it!
So I just got an email from the Assistant Director of Admissions asking for an update on my last prerequisite. His email said "Currently we are in the final stages of making decisions on all of the Spring 2017 ABSN applications." So I am assuming that we wont be hearing today..

I just got the same message. I think I am going insane! I am hoping it means it will be good news? I just have to complete microbio and I should be all set with my pre-reqs. AHHH! Good luck, all!
