I figured since every other cohort has started message boards about the application process it might be helpful to start one here as well! Has anyone applied to MGH for the January 2017 start In the accelerated nursing program? I've heard a lot of great things about the program and work with 5 nurses who have come from this program as well.
I figured we could all share our experiences and qualifications here.. Good luck to all! I'm so anxious, September can't come soon enough...
I'm hoping that since we got the email that means perhaps it means good news is on the way! I figure if we were going to be rejected why waste the time to email us about pre-reqs. Wishful thinking I guess!!
No email for me.. But my pre reqs were all completed in May. Did everyone who got an email have the submit the form that they sent out in August through the email?
No time frame to get back to them. I had already submitted the info with my original unofficial transcript before the deadline. Then I submitted the form with my updated grades from my two classes over the summer and including my last prereq I'm taking currently. The email just asked what class section and where I'm enrolled for my last prereq so I sent proof of enrollment and my updated unofficial transcripts again. They definitely already had all this information I think they were confirming I didn't drop the class basically.
same here. I submitted the form via email back in August, but then replied again to the email that I received today. I didn't submit proof of enrollment, although that is a good idea. I think i'll do that now.
I don't know that it's really needed, because we'd have to send official transcripts anyway if accepted. And his email was rather informal, "can you please send which course and where you are enrolled?" it didn't really ask for proof per se but I just figured I'd send it.

I got the same email! I am in the process of microbiology right now which is my last pre-req. I am just dying for an answer!!!
