Merritt College Fall 2014 Applicants

Hello!

Haven't seen a thread yet about Merritt Fall 2014, so I figured I'd start one. Has anyone heard whether they've passed Phases 1&2 of the app process yet?

And for the meantime, if you're like me and didn't know what your chancellor's score was, this site has an excel doc that will calculate it for you :) http://nursing.yccd.edu/chancellors-formula.aspx

Hello. I am a second yr student at Merritt. Any new information yet? I know they normally have their orientation the first Tuesday of June, but it has been postponed till June 16th as of now. Its an all day event that is mandatory. The date is not set in stone, but it is what I heard so far.

How has your experience at Merrit been so far? Would you personally recommend this program? What are the program's strengths and weaknesses? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Fall 2014 ADN Application Status UPDATE:

ADN candidate selection status has begun!

In an effort to notify each candidate in a timely manner, notification will initiallybe done electronically. If you receive an email notification of meeting qualifications to continue in the application process you will be required to send your 1st time TEAS scores (if taken) to[email protected].

Additional instructions will be given to you should you need to take the TEAS exam.

Thanks for posting an update. I'm already committed to another school, but I can't imagine how stressful this whole thing must be for someone who is counting on Merritt.

So I'm guessing we will hear soon? I also got accepted to other programs but would like to be at Merritt so hopefully they send it out soon so I can make my final decision.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what makes Merrit your first choice? :)

I got accepted to Santa Rosa and another program in SoCal; Merrit is actually my 3rd choice, I didnt get into Evergreen and couldn't apply to Ohlone college on time. Merrit has a smaller class size and very high NCLEX pass rates.

I still havent heard anything from Merritt yet, has anyone else?

By tomorrow maybe? I also got accepted into another program but it still would be nice to hear from Merritt. I took all my prereqs classes there.
