  1. Congrats on getting in earlier for fall tsuki! I remember you saying that you were going to try and switch to the Fall Start date instead of spring since you were initially accepted into my class, which starts Spring 2015
  2. I actually applied to the traditional ADN program in April and found out that I got in for spring in June. There's only one application period for the fall and spring cohort and that deadline was in April. You don't get to choose which cohort you start in; I think for those who have applied multiple times, if accepted they will get the fall start date. This was my first time applying for the program and I was lucky enough to get accepted for the spring. The start date for my cohort is January 12. I'm not sure how it works for the lvn to adn application and acceptance process.
  3. I received an acceptance letter today. I will not be attending Merritt so hopefully someone will be able to take my place. This is also my first time applying but I was lucky enough to get into a prestigious school. I did want to merrit for the location but I am very uneasy about the representation of the school. Good luck everyone!
  4. I haven't heard many great things amount Merritt College; you can go ahead and type in Merritt College in the search bar on All Nurses and read the reviews for yourself. I know all students are different so just keep that in mind.
  5. Congrats everyone!
  6. I received the same email yesterday stating that I need to send in my TEAS score
  7. I would like to be in that area but I think I am going to go with Santa Rosa or Sac State; they are definitely taking their sweet time if they're planning to have those who havent taken the TEAS to take it this coming monday
  8. I see I see; I feel like they are so unorganized with their system it's very frustrating I might just chose to go with my alternative program. Thank you for the info!
  9. Hey Pharmkesh, When did you receive the email and do you know which email they sent it to?
  10. Yea, I really hope they would reply soon. It's getting frustrating
  11. I got accepted to Santa Rosa and another program in SoCal; Merrit is actually my 3rd choice, I didnt get into Evergreen and couldn't apply to Ohlone college on time. Merrit has a smaller class size and very high NCLEX pass rates. I still havent heard anything from Merritt yet, has anyone else?
  12. So I'm guessing we will hear soon? I also got accepted to other programs but would like to be at Merritt so hopefully they send it out soon so I can make my final decision.
  13. hi! I have to let them know if I'm going to accept or deny by June 15th. There are also two other deadlines for other requirements such as immunization which is due October 15 and the drug screening which is due in Decemeber I believe. Also, if you haven't taken an dietary component to your nutrition course or if you havent taken psychology, you will need to finish that by the end of fall. Good luck and I hope you get in!
  14. Awesome! We should definitely get to know each other before then! Yes I got an email telling me about the TEAS. Right now I think it's scheduled for June 16th at 1:00pm. You might want to email ------------------, the person that emailed you the acceptance letter. She will have more info for you. Let me know if you want me to forward you the email regarding the test date if she doesn't respond to you.
