Starting a thread for those who applied at Merritt College in Oakland for fall 2022 ADN 

Anybody know when we will hear ? Now that we got through phase 3 when will we know when we get in or not ??

The application handbook mentioned by June 3rd. Hopefully they can draw names sooner since everyone has had to send in TEAS scores already.

Has anyone heard anything about the lottery ? Or any guess when they will start sending emails of acceptance?

I havent heard anything yet- lottery supposed to be done today. the application did say if you don't hear from them by June 3rd send an email. we created a group on fb for Bay Area nursing students- under the name Bay Area Prospective Nursing Students to share information about the programs. feel free to join

Not heard anything so far. If you guys don't mind sharing your TEAS 6 scores. I had a 90 on the TEAS 6. I just want to get an idea about the pool of applicants applying to the program. Thanks a ton!

 Most people generally don’t do well on their first take, so I feel like the average could be anywhere from 70% - 80%. I wonder when they’ll start sending emails tho LOL

This is what I got as a reply when I inquired if the lottery was done on Friday. 

 

Please follow directions on the brochure. Lottery is not done yet.

Wow! It states on the brochure the 20th so I’m confused now LOL.

Looks like they have not done the lottery yet and hopefully they will do that soon and inform students by June 3rd, 2022 as stated in the brochure.

I’ve heard a lot of mixed feelings about the nursing program at Merritt, so it’s really not a surprise that they haven’t done the lottery.
