Starting a thread for those who applied at Merritt College in Oakland for fall 2022 ADN

I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't heard from them yet. I'm still holding on to faith since they have not sent the "we are sorry" letter. You are right, it can be frustrating but don't give up.
Yes, feels a little discouraging, I can't take any student loans as I have kids to look after and I am already financially constrained but hopefully LMC will be the place, I most likely will get in, I probably need over 80% in TEAS 7 to give myself a great chance. I am happy that so many aspiring students are able to get into the programs and hopefully our paths cross in the future.

Well I hope you do get into LMC. Definitely take the TEAS 7, I’m sure you’ll do so great on it. Don’t give up hope, even though it’s frustrating. If you’re able to, like the previous person suggested, apply to SMU & the CSU’s. With those stats you should be able to get into anywhere.
Thank you all for your suggestions and recommendation. I definitely will try to CSU and USF in the next cycle should I not get into LMC because, LMC has always been my first choice, as I took all my pre-reqs there and I applied to other community colleges in Bay Area to give myself a back up but looks like my back-ups are discouraging and frustrating. LMC should be inviting me to take the TEAS 7 around the second week of June and will see if I will get in or not. It will solely be dependent on my TEAS 7 score and I will have to work as hard as I can in the next few days to make sure I score the maximum points. It's very encouraging and uplifting how you have all poured in your support. I am frustrated but have not lost hope yet :)!
