  1. They emailed me the generic rejection letter.
  2. I got my rejection letter last week. Reach out to the nursing dept, their email is in the brochure.
  3. Yes, SMU requires TEAS or HESI and they have prompt questions as well. They have a BSN program and they don't have summers off. If you have an AA in nursing their accelerated program is all online.
  4. Try SMU! Their cycle just opened and closes on July 1st for Spring 2023
  5. I got denied as well but offered admission to dominican with a 31k scholarship ?
  6. Maybe it's a glitch, still waiting on a decision! ??
  7. The only thing that changed on my portal just now is the second line that was added? Does anyone else have that too?
  8. Wow, I feel the same but your stats are amazing, you're in great shape! Don't give up, why don't you try the private route, SMU, Dominican, USF, or even the CSU's.
  9. found this on their website: Yes, Anatomy and Physiology may also be taken as a combined two-sequence course for a minimum total of 6-credit hours, including a one-credit lab. - I took A&P 1 and A&P 2, both classes contained Lab
  10. Hopefully they aren't but all private and ADN programs have been heavily impacted with applicants. Grades and experience should definitely be of the essence, esp since some students leave while in the nursing program because it's not what they had imagined, hopefully someone is in fact looking at our applications more thoroughly.
  11. I got denied from USFCA as well and my science GPA is a 4.0 and have over 7 years of medical experience, 5 years in the ER as a technician, im part of an honor society and have 3 LORs from 2 Dr's and a manager. I was reading in other threads that dental assistants, people with no experience in the medical field (even volunteering) and students with less than 3.5 GPAs were accepted, great for them, no doubt! but it does make you wonder how the process of accepting students into the nursing program happens, makes me wonder if it's computer generated since there are so many applicants?
  12. 15 spots for transfers is wow! So everyone else that gets accepted already goes to Dominican, I wonder if they automatically get accepted into the program...
  13. Hi everyone, They've updated my portal today.... I've taken Chemistry 101- Intro to Chem, waiting on that follow up email
  14. Received my mail already but no letter from the nursing department.
