Starting a thread for those who applied at Merritt College in Oakland for fall 2022 ADN 

I never created a group on facebook. Does anyone here know how to create one?

which schools did you apply to?

So far just Merritt CC. I applied to SMU’s nursing success seminar and waiting to hear back, supposedly that gives you a boost to your application for the RN BSN program they have. I’m also going to apply to Chico, SFSU, CSUEB, SF CC, Chabot CC, LMC, Fresno CC, Fresno state, sac state, San Jose state. Literally everywhere I’m going to try and apply to LOL.

Hello everyone, so based on my knowledge it’s a full lottery so as long as we have a passing TEAS score of 62% submitted by may 13th. They will do a random selection. This is my 2nd time applying and this is how they did it last year. Unfortunately I wasn’t picked and someone with less credentials did that’s what sucks about random lottery but god willing we get in and good luck to all!

Who wants to create the group ? I think facebook would be best- I am planning to retake the TEAS in July in order to apply to CSUEB. I applied to Chabot College in Janurary but I did not receive any correspondence from them. I felt rushed to take the TEAS for their deadline and I did not get the score I was hoping for. The lottery system is risky, I hope we all get in!

I am not sure how to create a facebook group LOL. But yeah, I’m rushing into taking the TEAS by next week to meet Merritt’s deadlines ?‍?. I hope we all get in too. But if not, maybe (hopefully) we’ll get into another school together!

Good luck on the TEAS. I took mine in January. Incase anyone applied to Chabot College and missed this email- the fall 2022 program has been deferred to August 2023. I can create the group. if all those interested in being in the group or know someone I can invite you guys- just leave your facebook handle and I can send the invite.

I created the group on facebook- it is Bay Area Prospective Nursing Students for anyone who wants to join- to keep trolls out I added a few questions for entry

Hey guys, for those second time applicants, I noticed we can only send our TEAS once on ATI and since I already did that last year are we all good? I tried calling and asking to confirm but nobody answered I left a email. I’m assuming that it’s already in their system and we don’t have to do anything if I’m wrong someone please tell me thanks.
