Mercy Hospital (Miami) LPN-RN

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into bridging into this program and wanted to know if there are any students out there (current or former) that would be able to provide information for this program. Such as quality of program, difficulty getting in, etc.... I do know that they are now accredited by ACEN. Any information would be great.

Thank you

I studied the book but there’s a website that I’ve heard some people say it gives you examples of the actual test.

At first, the first few weeks it was Monday thru Friday 730-300. All lecture. Once clinicals start it’s Monday and Tuesday clinical. Wednesday it’s lecture.

Idk about working. I’m not working at the moment.

Exactly

Have you made a deposit as well?

No I’m in the same boat as you . Waiting to be accepted. Ashley’s moth was accepted already so she paid . It was a deferment that happened

Ok.

Oh wow. I mean she gave a deposit so I'm sure a seat has already been secured for her unless they plan on giving her back her deposit.

Yea exactly but I doubt they would do that . Now unless they decide on not doing an August program and start in January. It’s just too close for comfort especially cuz they haven’t sent any emails.

Exactly! But that would totally crush many of us all who was looking forward to this August Cohort. And Mercy is literally my plan A-Z.

Lol exactly!!! You and I both . This is plan A and B for me . Sooooo im just waiting it out.

I have a back up plan but the program is 18 vs. 12 months at mercy. Mercy is a drive for me I’m in Fort Lauderdale but it’s the best schedule I could find with needing to work even part time. So fingers crossed. I hope worst case scenario they hold August for Jan, which I wouldn’t like cause it’s more time till we can become RNs but I’d be ok with that with 100% certainty we would be starting no more waiting on emails. From what I understand part of the deposit is refundable they is a portion that is not.

Exactly. A portion? Are you serious but you barely sat for class or anything. I don’t think that would be fair. But yes fingers crossed we all will receive our acceptance emails before the week ends.
