Mercy College ABSN 19 NY

Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who got accepted to Mercy ABSN fall 2019 in ny . It's a new program which also help out transfer CNR student finish there degree and I hope we could shared our thoughts for other incoming students. I was called around July 9th and told I was accepted and waiting for my officially letter package in the mail. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

Honestly, everything with Mercy is going slow. My paperwork is still pending and I cant register for clinical yet. School starts Sept 4th and like you said everything is going by fast. Keep calling, dont give up even if they take you next yr.

I think its around 45K for tuition.

Its about 9,000 full time per semester not sure where u get 45k from. your only going for 18 months

most ppl dont get financial aid because its second degree. government loans, tuition, reimbursement from jobs , and scholarships are available. it new acceleration program hopefully things will be lil more organized next year. I wanted to defer bout I will face my fear and not wait any longer from a break from school

Its definitely frustrating !! Paul said he would call me tomorrow , something tells me he wont so im going to call him and try to get to the bottom of this because this is very last minute ! Ill keep you guys updated!

Its $9000 per semester. Program is 2 falls and 2 springs, thats 36k. Then one summer session part time, apprx 3-4K so that brings it to 39ish. Then any additional fees? IDK so thats why I said 45K to just bump it up.

I dont think it bad though considering mount st vincent is abut 14k a semester my friend graduated there and nyu and liu even more. and these are private colleges.

im goin start this school now cuz im sure the requirement for next year will change. Just like liu, beth israel nursing programs. im not gonna wait again. let me a&P requirements expire

Yeah its not bad at all considering. I was just clarifying because you seem confused on how I got 45K. And I agree as well. Next year makes five years for my pre reqs as well but I also dont want to be rushed and I feel like this is all extremely last minute

yes thanks for the calculations i didnt think about it at first. school is ruff but we gotta do it thats the sad part Ive prayed bout it. i think the deadline is too much especially for ppl being accepted in august

Im not sure if they are accepting yet. But he did say that there wasn’t an issue with deferring. I’m going to try and find out more tomorrow. It’s a little much to sign on to 50K in two weeks with zero information about the school. He keeps just saying you’ll be told at orientation.

Deferring for spring? or next fall? And exactly! They just expect people to completely uproot their lives in a matter of two weeks. So much has to be done financially, with paperwork etc. It's all very fast

I’m not sure when orientation is. And there is a summer or spring start as well.
