Mercy College ABSN 19 NY

Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who got accepted to Mercy ABSN fall 2019 in ny . It's a new program which also help out transfer CNR student finish there degree and I hope we could shared our thoughts for other incoming students. I was called around July 9th and told I was accepted and waiting for my officially letter package in the mail. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

I just emailed him today and he told me I won’t get a decision response til the middle of next week smh. At this point just send me the rejection letter. This school is keeping me from committing to any jobs right now and it’s just ridiculous that’s it’s been this long.

I understand your frustration because i was in the same situation. I was waiting for Mercy to see if I needed to quit my job.The worst feeling to have is having someone dangling your future in front of you. They're still calling people meaning there's still hope. Fingers crossed.

How long do they give you to put down a deposit?

they dont say the deadline. according to registration for the new absn program there 96 seats and three sections. so far when i look the first two sections are almost full in registrating and each section consist of 32 students.

Paul said the sooner I pay the better chances of having a seat for the fall. After you pay, he emails you a package and it needs to be completed by Aug 23. In the package it includes updated immunization, physical, cpr certificate, background check, drug test, , and uniform information. Then you will meet with him one on one.

theres a website u have to upload ur documents they take forever to verify ur documents so hurry @Ev3

also u wont be registered for clinicals or know ur clincal schedule untill u upload everything. so far no has been registered for clinicals. im still waiting for the site to review my uploaded documents. i have done my my tb test or physical yet doing it next week.

they late on sending acceptance letters/email for those who getting it in august they forgot ppl lives gonna change and need time to adjusted if they got accepted lol.

I submitted most of my documents. I'm only missing my vaccines. I'm dreading it but am getting them next week. It appears everything is running late with them. I think they have too many people to process because they merged with College of New Rochelle. They should give us an extension! YES!! lol I agree, ppl lives will change and they are not giving us enough time. Make sure you get the uniform because it takes 4wks? lol

yea i can finish my documents. I was told they wont register us in clinical until we have all out documents. I ordered my uniform and i came fast .I order mines on 7/20/19 and got it today 8/3/19. they dont stretch as much they are normal sizes
