Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who got accepted to Mercy ABSN fall 2019 in ny . It's a new program which also help out transfer CNR student finish there degree and I hope we could shared our thoughts for other incoming students. I was called around July 9th and told I was accepted and waiting for my officially letter package in the mail. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

The developmental psych is a new grade and I took it along with statistics (received an A in that) because that’s what CNR originally wanted me to do before they closed down and even the director of admissions said I had nothing to worry about because they will accept me with a 2.9 but then all that cnr crap happened and when I spoke to the admissions guy at mercy a few months ago, he said my grades were good as well. But when I met with me two weeks ago he decided to tell me that my gpa may not be good enough for the program and to try next semester after taking a class. But I still haven’t received a acceptance or rejection letter so who knows. I have other schools I’m applying to for the spring but it’s just annoying not knowing the actual decision for this fall.

i think they are waiting for the first batch to reply to acceptance. I think ur gotta get in classes havent filled up yet its still early. Give till the end of July.

I hope so. It’s just frustrating because I can’t even commit to a job until I know what going on for the fall. It would be amazing if I got in though. Fingers crossed ??

I am giving up my seat in the program. I decided to go with CMSV. So hopefully that will help! Wish you all the best

hey any news I had a friend who applied but they never got her application.

Nothing yet. I’m probably going to call tomorrow or on the 1st. That sucks about your friend, I would be so pissed. What is she going to do? Did you apply through cnr? Also they’re rolling admission like cnr so there’s no deadline.

not sure how she applied but i heard they are rolling admissions too

Hi,

Keep calling Paul Reid and ask for an explanation. I just received my acceptance email today. I was in the same situation. I was originally part of the CNR program at the College of New Rochelle but somehow Mercy didn't have all my paperwork. I had to resubmit all my paperwork. Is very stressful just waiting for a respond.
