Mercy College ABSN 19 NY

Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who got accepted to Mercy ABSN fall 2019 in ny . It's a new program which also help out transfer CNR student finish there degree and I hope we could shared our thoughts for other incoming students. I was called around July 9th and told I was accepted and waiting for my officially letter package in the mail. I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

orientation is the 22 next week. Im sure because they sent acceptance letter they will get ppl exceptions.

I just spoke to Paul Reid I was accepted into the program ? ... I asked him if I can defer until january and he said he strongly advises against it ... are you guys all starting in september even with the short notice ?

I’m so confused by him. He told me I could defer with no problem and then told me that i can’t defer till summer 2020. There’s no program start in spring so I’m very confused. If you get an answer let me know. I will not be starting in the fall for financial reasons.

Congrats on getting in! Did you call him to find out or did he call you?

Thank you! I called him he said my application was still under review and would get back to me by friday and then called me an hour later and said I was accepted ...

Any idea which campus the ABSN program is out of bc I know they have a few

Congrats! Just go with the flow and u will get everything done. Ask for an extension bc they gave u a last min noticed.

congrats. The program is based on the bronx campus. all course are in the bronx

hopefuly next semester we will be able to use classroom in the manhattan campus the regular track nursing student as using CNR old campus and dobbs ferry campus

Thank you!! ? .. Im trying haha its just so much in such a short amount of time lol I just paid my 100$ seat deposit, do you know what happens next?

After u pay the deposit everything goes by fast. U get the paperwork and the running around begins.
