It's a new program which also help out transfer CNR student finish there degree and I hope we could shared our thoughts for other incoming students. you’re welcome!

Good morning ! Have any of you in the Fall 2020 class received updates on the nursing bag or information on what textbooks are needed? I've been calling and emailing the nursing department but haven't gotten much information.

All is well! Someone got back to me!

Hi everyone ! Can any of you share any insight on what the dosage calculation test is like?

Hi guys,

I am planning to attend Mercy College for the Spring 2021 semester, but wanted to have some insights. Can anyone share how are the classes so far? Do they help you to prepare for NCLEX? Thank you

I am sure this was asked many times but please someone answer to this with the kindness of your hearts as detailed as possible. I am thinking to apply to the ABSN program for 2021...I contacted (P.R) and he told me that applications are due march 1st 2021 for the Summer. I am wondering if someone can give me details on the following because I simply think students understand that question much better than anyone else.

1- Is this program starting in the Summer or fall ? and is it 4 semesters long

2- For students who are in or graduated from the program, what is the typical weekly schedule ( class vs. clinical) in other words how many lecture days and clinical days are there in a week? and what time are they typically?

3-What are the passing requirements for classes to remain in the program and what would put you at risk to failing ?

hi, some classes are better than others and some professors are better than others. not sure how well prepared I feel for NCLEX, I’ll most likely feel more prepared when I’m done the program. you have to be dedicated to putting in a lot of studying/reading outside of class since it is accelerated but also because that’s just how nursing is. but if your prof isn’t great just be prepared to pretty much teach yourself.

it has Spring, Summer and fall starts. and no its a 5 semesters program. passing grade is B-(78 percent out of 100)

any updates how the students in the current cohort are doing? I spoke with Paul Reid and he informed me they don't have any info on NCLEX pass rate because the first class hasn't taken them yet but will be soon. Has anyone dropped out of the program? Do you feel that the program has prepared you well for the NCLEX or for a position post graduation. Any info appreciated!

Hello,

Congrats and thanks for making this group! I was just accepted but I am trying to decide if I want to attend Mercy or CMSV. I don't have much info on Mercy ABSN because it's a new program. Also I couldn't find the total cost of the program. I saw how much per a semester, but I couldn't figure out all the fees and such.

I hope you did not attend msv I am trying to leave there now it is terrible.
