MERCY ABSN 20 NY

Hi I'm creating a group for all the people who applying or got accepted to mercy college in ny for Spring 20

thanks for the info guys! so just to clarify, we know spring 2020 is filled and its a done deal congrats to everyone! now my question is:

is it too late to submit for summer 2020???

I don't think so because they are still working on a Summer entry. It would be best to call the nursing program office to find out if they are REALLY doing a Summer entry...or this person I'm attaching; he should be able to instruct you further.

@Emmalee I spoke to ———— today, and they still working on getting the site to allow people to apply for the Summer but if you contact him he can change your application for the Summer session or fall

I also spoke to him and he said it isnt too late to apply for summer. i cannot find the link, did you guys use an undergrad link or common app for the absn?

———— emailed me back this morning saying that my application was submitted for final review for Spring 2020. He said if I am not accepted for Spring he will move my application to Summer start.

Hi guy!

I know that this thread is in regards to the ABSN for spring 2020. But I was wondering if you guys had any information for the fall semester. I have the basic information but I was wondering if anyone was planning to apply and when you would apply. Also would it be possible to provide your stats. Like I currently hold a 3.2 gpa overall and a 2.5 prerequisites gpa. But I have volunteer experience and am in the process of shadowing a nurse. Would it be possible to get in with my stats? Thank you and sorry for the many questions!

Hi,

You can apply from now if you have all of the prerequisites. Applications for Fall is open. In terms of stats, everybody's case differs...you can have poor stats, a wonderful resume and a killer personal statement. Just the same you can have wonderful grades, wonderful essay and little to no experience (work, volunteer, internship, externship).

My point is, don't worry about stats. Try to make your personal statement stand out...you'll be fine.

hey guys! did you guys upload your unofficial trancripts (college + high school) when submitting the online app. or do i have to mail them tooo? i believe paul reid said we can mail official when we get accepted?

@OsiriaRose did you say you were from long island and got accepted into the 2020 program! bc if so me too! im trying to figure out how to commute over an hour since they only have dorms at the dobbs ferry campus which are super expensive ?
