Merced College FA 2021/ SP 2022 Applicants

Who knows when the link will be available and how we should be preparing right now. Has anyone sent anything yet? TEAS scores, transcripts, other documents????

Nice to me another mama going for it! I hope to have a lot of support. Haha. My oldest is out of the house now so just 5 little ones to worry about. I don't have any family in the area but my husband's family is near and we are really hoping to be able to utilize them along with maybe a few other sources. It's something I really worry about but I'll keep holding myself back if I try to have it all figured out right now before I even know where I'll be or what my schedule will be.

Hey! I’m waiting for the application window to open too!  I had heard it’s generally March but they were waiting to see what the other colleges were doing before deciding (this was back in like November that I heard this.)  So CSU Stanislaus has already opened and closed their application window (which was about a month or more earlier than usual for them).  I was wondering if Merced would be doing the same?  Good luck to those applying :-)

That would be cool if they opened it sooner. I talked to a counselor at the end of December and a different one earlier this week and they both said mid March so we shall see. The anticipation is the worst! Good luck to you!

Ooh yes!! Ask them if they are opening up their application period earlier than usual as CSU Stanislaus did.  I’m hoping we will know the results of the Merced College applications before the window to promise to commit to CSU Stan expires. 

I know Merced generally have about 350 applicants - are they anticipating more or less this round due to closures of other nursing programs for this year? 

Online? In Person? What are they thinking and when will it be decided. 

How long before we know! LOL - literally everyone’s question!

Awesome! I’ve gotten the impression she manages the program.  We’ve emailed a few times but I’ve never had a zoom meeting!  Hope you get some great information ?

Does anyone know if Merced will be accepting the TEAS scores of students who have taken the TEAS proctored online from home?
