Hi @paul_rn! Did you use any agency to enroll in ACN or is it just on your own? I'm also planning to enroll in ACN, I'm just waiting for my LoE.

Hi. I did it on my own. Just let me know if you have questions. :)

btw, how long have you been waiting for your referral to bridging letter?

hi! May i know the validity of certificate of good standing? thanks

Hi. I am not sure for how long it is valid. However, it is better if you request it ahead of time from the time when you are going to send your AGOS-40, especially if you are requesting COGS from foreign regulatory agencies. Know how long it takes for those agencies to produce a certificate. For PRC COGS, it can be available within the day. Just pay PHP 200 to rush the process and you will be able to get it after 2 hours and have it sent through DHL PRC.

Oh great! AHPRA received my application on the 22nd of Feb but I received the acknowledgement letter 5 days later which was on the 27th. Hopefully it will arrive next week based on the average processing time frame, although I'm still hopeful that I can get the letter early. Anyway, how did your reserve your slot in ACN? Do I need to fully accomplish the requirements first? Thanks!

URGENT:

My sis is currently in PRC requesting for letter of accrediation.

Anyone could recall if PRC need to fill up a form from AHPRA?

Thank you.

Did your RO requested this? The only original document that you'll request in PRC is your Certificate of Good Standing to be sent directly by them.

Accreditation to satisfy Criteria 2 & 3 are to be accomplished by your school/PAASCU and CHED. But according to NMBA, the Philippines will still not meet these criteria and we will still be referred to a bridging program.

There are actually people here who didn't submit any letter of accreditation but were still able to get their LoE.

If she needs accreditation letter, it is being accomplished by the educational institution where she graduated from. As far as I can remember, a letter from her University and a letter from CHED are to be sent to AHPRA.

Great! Thank you for the clarification!

This website is a lifesaver! :)

Send them an email first about your interest in their course and they will reply with details about enrollment.

After they have received and evaluated your application, they will send you an acceptance letter which contains further details on what you should do next.

I submitted my application together with the required documents. See this link: Entry Program for Internationally Qualified Nurses (EPIQ) | Australian College of Nursing

In order for us to be accepted for registration, our application will be assessed against the 8 Qualification Criteria for internationally qualified RNs. See Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Meeting the registration requirements. We need to meet criteria 1, 4, 5, and 7 at least to be referred to a NMBA-approved bridging program. Criteria 2, 3, 6, and 8 on the other hand are the reasons why we must undergo BP to be on par with the Australian standard of nursing education — an aspect that graduates from the Philippines did not meet.

To save time, effort, and money, you don't need to accomplish those accreditation requirements from CHED, PRC, or even pharmacology certificate. Just deal with criteria 1,4,5, and 7.

Hi guys,

I have just received an email from AHPRA. One of the things they asked is this

· Proof of Identity provided is insufficient please refer to link Proof of Identity Requirements.

o Category A – Affidavit : Please note as there are discrepancies in your name with different supporting documents, you will be required to send via post an original affidavit.

What else do I need to send to fulfill this? I already sent them my birth certificate and marriage certificate. I also stated in the form my previous name. I mean, why do I need this affidavit. I changed my name through marriage and not because of some sort.

Thank you for the response! Very helpful.

Hmm.. It is just as what your RO has said. You need an affidavit for your name change. He needs a legal declaration (an affidavit) from you stating that you have changed your name from (your previous name) to (your present name), which in your case, due to marriage.

Better ask your RO regarding your concern so that everything will be clear.
