Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

Hi, I'm a filipina nurse who hasn't had any experience for 6 years and graduated 8 years ago. I'm still on nursing board although it expires in March. Can i see be eligible for bridging course or do i need to take something else? I researched on APHRA website and called them but they keep saying I must register first but i know that can take time so i wanted to know if i should be doing another course first or whether i'm still eligible. Appreciate your feedback.

Hi. Need help. Is there an instance ahpra approve an application with ielts score of 6.5 in one of the subtest?. Please respond. Thankyou

Yes, you can combine two ielts test results from two sittings in six months. Example, if you got 6.5 in writing on your first sitting, you can have 6.5 on any subtest on your second sitting as long as its not on the writing subtest

One year from the date of issuance of your referral for the BP

I see. Thanks. But is there any possibilities that they will approve it though you took it on two sittings and still got 6.5 on the same subtest

Nope. You must make up for it in your next sitting just like what msschwarz said.

I see, thank you so much. í ½í¸€

Hello, what time does IhNa start their classes everyday? I will travel by bus and train to my school. Is this ok?

Hi, May I know what are the qualifications for me to get recommended to take the bridging program?

I have 9 months of full time paid hospital experience last 2009-2010

I did volunteer unpaid work as a company nurse from 2015-2016 for 6 months.

Will APHRA recommend that I take the bridging program? I am willing to take it.

Thank you

need help guys. Do i need to apply for my COGS from PRC first before i send my application to AHPRA?

Paul, you may need to plan out that your application and COGS will be received more or less at the same day/week.

My COGS came a few days earlier than my AGOS 40 with my documents, so you don't have to worry whichever comes first.
