Hello,

I just received my assessment outcome today and it says there "proposal to refuse". I failed to meet criteria 3,6,8. Can you please help me what documents do I need to submit for them to reconsider their decision? Together with the proposal to refuse, ahpra gave me referral letter for bridging program. Thank you

You need not do anything. We will not meet this criteria in any possible way. Hence, your referreal to the bridging program. The proposal to refuse is like an appeal which even if you submit will not meet the criteria. They referred you to a bridging program because this is what you need to meet those criteria. That is why, we need to apply again for registration after the bridging program with the same form but this time, with attached BP certificate.

Hi everyone. I just want to ask regarding Certificate of Good Standing. I used to work before in Philippines and Jordan as a Staff RN, however, I wasn't registered in Jordan Nursing Council because my employer failed to do so. So, I cannot submit a Certificate of Good Standing from Jordan. Should I not declare my experience in Jordan as Staff RN since I am not registered there or I will just do a self declaration as to why I cannot submit a Good Standing Cert?

My experience in Philippines was 2008-2010 which is already beyond the 5 past five years, although I am still registered in PRC until 2017. Can I just submit my Good Standing Cert from PRC?

Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks!

From what I have found out and what I was previously informed, the experience you accumulated in Jordan will not be considered by AHPRA as you were not registered as a nurse there. (Same situation as I am but in Saudi Arabia)

Ahpra is requiring applicants a minimum of 3 months experience as a registered nurse in whichever country for the last 5 years.

If you are still in Jordan, it is best to get registered with their Nursing Council and accumulate the necessary experience or if you are back in the PH to be employed asa registered nurse.

Thanks for sharing your idea. So I will not be including my Jordan experience then.

Hi, that's your cue to get into the bridging program here in au to get your registration. You could find the list of schools on the ahpra website. Happy school hunting!

Give me your email address then I'll message you. thank you

hi there!

im on the same boat! Though I'm trying to consider ACN. You reckon it's better at ETEA?

Hmmm, read here and in other forums that ACN has lots of requirements. My hubby had his Bridging there too. Some people he knows say that ETEA isn't that so toxic. We'll see.
