Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi everyone. I just want to ask regarding Certificate of Good Standing. I used to work before in Philippines and Jordan as a Staff RN, however, I wasn't registered in Jordan Nursing Council because my employer failed to do so. So, I cannot submit a Certificate of Good Standing from Jordan. Should I not declare my experience in Jordan as Staff RN since I am not registered there or I will just do a self declaration as to why I cannot submit a Good Standing Cert? My experience in Philippines was 2008-2010 which is already beyond the 5 past five years, although I am still registered in PRC until 2017. Can I just submit my Good Standing Cert from PRC? Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks!

Filipino RN currently in Jordan wanting to apply in NCNZ
Thank SephRN.. So, you processed your papers when you were in the Philippines? Did you submit any document from ME, like police certificate? In my case, I can't be home not until 2 years as my contract does not provide free airfare yearly.

Filipino RN currently in Jordan wanting to apply in NCNZ
Hi! I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and had a work experience for two years there. Currently, I am working in Jordan as a staff nurse for a year now and I want to apply or process for the Nursing Registration in New Zealand. I do know that I need to do the CAP in NZ, however, I am not so confident in processing all the documents by myself. I do not want to use any help from the agency since it is a waste of money. They are asking P60,000 for the processing fee. I am hoping that I can get support from this group. The following are my initial questions: 1. Is it possible to process my documents from both countries, Philippines and Jordan? Meaning, some of the documents will be sent from Philippines, while others are from Jordan. I will just ask my sister to get the necessary documents from PRC and my university. Is an ordinary authorization letter enough? 2. Do I have to submit two police certificates from each country, Jordan and Philippines: an old NBI certificate for the Philippines and a new police certificate from Jordan? Is there anyone here who tried to process her papers from the Philippines while working in Middle East? I really hope to hear any feedback since I am struggling in doing even the first step. Thank you.
