Anybody here for IHNA Melbourne intake this January?

Hello,

I am going through the application for AHPRA... on one section to prove your identity, it states that you have to include an australian passport/australian visa... I am from Canada... should I be applying for a work visa first? My understanding was to get my AHPRA registration first??? This application seems very overwhelming......

Still looking for ETEA, SYDNEY classmates. am for january 6 intake.. and havent found any prospective classmates.. heheh

To uktoaussie, i'm for march intake at IHNA. This is my email: [email protected]. Hope i'll get in touch with u. Anyone else? Thanks everyone;)

Hi guys I've got some few questions regarding AGOS40 registration form:

in page 8 question 17, english competency pathway, my question is which pathway should I choose and should fill out the Table for education or just proceed to question 18 since I've met the score for Pearson Test Exam.

And my other question is regarding question number 10 page 5, regarding qualifications and examinations/assessments, should I include my college, highschool, PRC registration and PTE credentials?

Thanks!

May I ask which "Pearson Test exam" were you referrring to? If you did achieve the required minimum score in one of the approved english language tests specified by NMBA, then yes, proceed to question 18.

And my other question is regarding question number 10 page 5, regarding qualifications and examinations/assessments, should I include my college, highschool, PRC registration and PTE credentials?

Yes, except highschool. Have them all certified as true copy.

Happy NEWYEAR RN'S! :reef::bell:

@dy3p I took PTE exam one of the latest additional english requirements along with TOEFL just this last June 2015. Thank you for your response and help appreciate it! Happy new year to you and to all other RNs out there! :)

And I have one more question regarding my training certificates, because I can only provide 3 certificates at the moment because I misplaced my other expired certificate trainings such as ACLS, the only thing that I have right now is an expired ANSAP and IVT Training certificate and a current Victorian BLS training. Is there a bearing if I wasn't able to provide other certificates even if I had 2 years of hospital experience from 2011-2013? Thanks!

Hello, I would greatly appreciate it if you share any information regarding registered nurses in working in Ireland who are interested to work in Australlia, if I have to take the bridging course. I know i still have to submit assessment application to Ahpra but do you know anyone who came from Ireland and moved to Australia without attending the bridging course? I have a friend who have a British passport, and ahpra only require him ielts, he got exempted from bridging, i am not sure if being registered in ireland would exempt me from taking the expensive course.

thanks in advance for those w ho will share any info. :clown:

Hi elainne, yes you can apply.. Ahpra website stated that "You need to provide evidence that you have practised for a period equivalent to a minimum of three months full-time, within the past five years.

The types of evidence you can provide includes a service statement from your employer, pay slips, income statement for the year, and other documents showing the hours and dates that you worked."

..any role, whether remunerated or not, in which the individual uses their skills and knowledge as a nurse or midwife ...practice is not restricted to the provision of direct clinical care. It also includes working in a direct non-clinical relationship with clients, working in management, administration, education, research, advisory, regulatory or policy development roles, and any other roles that impact on safe, effective delivery of services in the profession and/or use of their professional skills...

Hope this helps you..

Cheers
