It's been a while since I have posted here. Congratulations to those who received their most awaited LOEs!😊 I just want to share what I have been through these past few weeks. My RO told me before that my application will be due for board review in November. Unfortunately, last November 10 she sent mail that I need to submit an affidavit regarding change of name because of the written Last Name 'Y' Middle Name on my qualification certificate. I forwarded the affidavit on the same day and it was received 3 days later. After that, I did not here any good response from myRO. I asked her if mine wii be considered in December and told me it was not and "maybe" on January. I was very disappointed and confronted my RO about my situation. Then yesterday 02 January, I received a "very satisfying" answer from my RO and told me that my application was reviewed last 19 December and I should wait for 2 weeks regarding the outcome. Somehow, I am relieved! Indeed, this is a good start for 2015! 😊

The same thing happened to me on Dec 6. My college diploma had an "y" from the Spanish system. I shot an e.mail saying that I am not pleased as they had the credentials for 8 mos amd it took them that long. I sent a stat dec to Sydney and was not yet received a week later. I dropped one off at Melbourne and that sorted it out. I received confirmation that mine was also reviewed on the 19th. 15 working days lands us on the 13th or so. Hoping for the best. :)

I am a Registered Nurse here in the U.S.A. with an A.D.N. and a B.S. in Microbiology, with 2.5 years of clinical experience. I am looking to relocate to Brisbane, AU in the near future. At the moment, my application is in "Phase 2", as A.H.P.R.A. calls it. This is the phase they indicated where they will be assessing my qualifications as an R.N., and whether or not it is equivalent to an Australian B.S.N. I was told my a representative from A.H.P.R.A to expect at least another month before I know of any decision. Has anyone applied to A.H.P.R.A. with an A.D.N. and a B.S. in a science field, as in my particular case? If so, what was the outcome?

If and when I gain registration with A.H.P.R.A., will they give me a number of some sorts so that I can use it to apply for jobs in Australia, and to use it to submit an E.O.I. through the Australian D.I.B.P.?

What is the likelihood of gaining an invitation to apply for an Australian visa after submitting an E.O.I.? What is the likelihood of gaining visa sponsorship from an Australian employer? Are there any employers that you know of who offer sponsorships once I gain registration with A.H.P.R.A.?

hi peeps, just wanna ask if someone has a visa already? i applied last december for a visa 600, my school is in melbourne. ACFE will commence on the 12th already and still im here waiting for my visa to arrive. im feeling anxious and pressured already, cant buy my tickets yet. waaaaaaaah!!!
