Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

I'm quite positive. I had my tests done more than a year ago and PGH told me that only NKTI has them.

How much is it?

It's been a while since I have posted here. Congratulations to those who received their most awaited LOEs!😊 I just want to share what I have been through these past few weeks. My RO told me before that my application will be due for board review in November. Unfortunately, last November 10 she sent mail that I need to submit an affidavit regarding change of name because of the written Last Name 'Y' Middle Name on my qualification certificate. I forwarded the affidavit on the same day and it was received 3 days later. After that, I did not here any good response from myRO. I asked her if mine wii be considered in December and told me it was not and "maybe" on January. I was very disappointed and confronted my RO about my situation. Then yesterday 02 January, I received a "very satisfying" answer from my RO and told me that my application was reviewed last 19 December and I should wait for 2 weeks regarding the outcome. Somehow, I am relieved! Indeed, this is a good start for 2015! 😊

While waiting for my AHPRA letter, I tried to look for schools and completed my vaccination and Chest Xray requirement. Luckily, ACN officer told me to submit my requirements even without the referral letter from AHPRA which they are not doing before. I submitted all their required docs including the Australian Federal Police Check which costs around 42AUD. The officer told me that they are just waiting for my AHPRA referral letter and I informed them that I might join their March intake(fingers crossed) The visa thing and medical will consume more time. I just want to know who wants to have their BP in ACN??? just PM me haha. Goodluck and Godbless us all!😊

Unfortunately, I don't think I could catch up with my paperworks/requirements in time for the March intake. I do hope we'd all have smooth processing of our BPs!

I heard ACN is a bit pricey(?). Is it true that I have to pay a certain amount just for the initial application at ACN?

ACN still offers the cheapest BP at 10000 AUD.

Total fee $10,000 made up of 3 payments as follows:

• $250.00 non-refundable application fee

• $1000.00 non-refundable acceptance fee (payable when placement is accepted)

• $8750.00 final payment due 3 week's prior to program commencement

You can check their website for further details:
